26 September 2018

The KHL Disciplinary Committee investigated events from Tuesday’s games:

CSKA – HC Sochi

Game time: 49:06

The Committee examined the incident which led to CSKA defenseman Mikhail Pashnin (#33) receiving a major penalty plus a game misconduct penalty under the p. 1.13. of the art. 27 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations. After studying the incident, the Committee supported the decision of the referee, imposing on Pashnin a one-game ban and a fine.

Moreover, as this was not the player’s first 5+20-minute penalty of the current season, he incurs a separate fine and an automatic two-game ban for repeat offending under p. 4.3.2. of the art. 27 of the KHL Disciplinary Regulations. As a result, Pashnin has been disqualified for three games in total.
