At 2:30 a.m. November 13 on Beijing Time , CWHL regular season continued, Shenzhen Kunlun Red Star guest Normandy Arena, challenged Montreal Canadiens for the second time. In the last match, Kunlun defeated opponent 3-1 at the NHL Bell Center. Both sides of the campaign were ambitious to win: Kunlun expected to two-game winning streak and Canadiens was looking forward to prove the strength of the defending champion at home. Kunlun closed the gap after two goals behind Canadiens, but Canadiens began to show their obvious advantages at home, and even scored three goals in a row.Finally Kunlun lost the game by 3-5 .

At 2 :00 a.m. November 12 on Beijing Time, Shenzhen Kunlun Red Star went to Montreal Canadiens, against the last CWHL championship Canadian team. In order to welcome the advent of the Kunlun Red Star, the game was held at the Bell Center, home to NHL team, which also made Kunlun the first Chinese club to participate in the competition at the NHL venue. Chinese Ambassador in Canada Lu Shaye, Wen Jia,the President of Hua Jing Group , CWHL coalition chairman Andreas and Montreal Mayor Prandtl attended the focus of this war. As one of the most notable teams of the season, Kunlun was considered the most capable team to challenge Canadians before the season began. At 8:00 a.m.November 8 on Beijing Time, Vanke played the third game within the past 4 days, as well as the last game against Blades in this series. In this game, Vanke maintained a great state. Thanks to Bestdon, Blake Luke, Moser, Webster’s goals and the goalkeeper Trulli’s wonderful save, Vanke kept a clean sheet 4-0. All the Chinese players appeared, playing the most fluid game this season.Prior to the two games, Vanke beat opponents 2-1 and 7-2 respectively. Blades were suffering some recent poor, and their performance were bad. Blades haven’t win in this series yet. Vanke Rays had won three consecutive games in the CWHL championship, with the current score of 4 wins and 1 loss, and accumulated 8 points ,ranking third in the scorecard .

November 5(Beijing Time), Vanke Rays in Boston began the second back-to-back game versus Blades .Vanke used all-Chinese players lineup for the first time: No.1 player Kong Minghui, No.23 player Fang Xin, No.10 player He Xin, No.88 player Zhao Qinan and No.19 player Hou Yue. Vanke Rays changed the slow state of the last game, opened fire fully from the beginning of this game. Thanks to Bestdon, Blake Luke, Giaconia, Moser and Webster’s goals and Zhao Qinan’s wonderful assists, Vanke finally beat the opponent 6-2, ushered in the first winning streak.

At 8:00 a.m. November 5 on Beijing Time, Vanke Rays challenged Boston Blades in Boston. The two teams tied in 1-1 draws in 60 minutes,then went into overtime and penalty shootout. In the end, Vanke goalkeeper Trulli in penalty shootout performed well, saved three balls in a row, helped Vanke beat the Blades 2-1. This victory made Vanke move ahead of the their old rival in the CWHL,Toronto, ranking fourth in the championship.

October 29 is a memorable day for the two Chinese teams at CWHL:Kunlun Red Star came to Calgary to challenge Calgary Inferno, eventually earned their first win with unbelievable buzzer lore in a 4:3 triumph; Vanke Rays went to Toronto for a match , and beat the opponent 3: 0 in the first CWHL, creating the history of winning firstly. Chinese player Liu Zhixin also made assists in the Kunlun Red Star’s match, got the first point as a Chinese domestic player in CWHL.
