Reporter: Please comment on tonight's game.

Curt Fraser: It was like a relief more than anything tonight. We knew this was not gonna be any kind of an easy game. It was always difficult when we got through tough, a lot of injuries. You play a team like this, they can come up with their best game. I thought our guys did a great job working hard through it.

We had to use Murphy up on wing tonight. Three kids from the VHL did a real nice job on our 4th line filling in. And it was great to get Luke Lockhart back in the line-up. We really missed him. Our goaltending has been so good this full year that…Smitty was great again tonight, giving us an opportunity to win. And then to have…get a power play goal early, and then to have Devante step up tonight. He scored a great goal, get the winner. It was awesome.

We have 3 lines tonight. Top 3 lines had a lot of work. Miller’s line did a great job. I thought everybody contributed tonight. That’s what we needed. Our home stand with all the bodies we’ve been missing, 3 or 2 probably good thing for our team. Now hopefully we get more guys back. Hit the road here and have a good road trip.

We are gonna have to just continue to get rid of the problems with the penalties at the end of the game. That put a lot of extra pressure, unneeded pressure on us. We won the special teams battle tonight. Penalty killing did a great job and our power play scored a goal. So that was a good thing. We all want a good win on Christmas and Merry Christmas everybody. And hopefully the new year get us started on the right foot.
