Curt Fraser postgame interview over Avangard (1128)

Reporter: Please comment on tonight's game.

Curt Fraser: Coming off a road trip, getting back in our building, everybody is really excited. But we looked a little scrambling, the first period. Second period, battled hard. Then the third period, I thought we were real good. But it took us about 35 minutes to get our feet under us. But your know why you got to give Avangard full marks, give them credit. They are a good team. Anyway, I thought our guys played really well, but obviously we are gonna have to score more than 2 goals. It was a huge short-handed goal by Cracknell. It’s big. And the shot by Miller was excellent.

You love shootouts when you win them, but you hate them when you lose them. Both goaltenders were excellent all night. And the first thing in the game they couldn’t find a way to get a puck by him. Our goaltending has been good all year. Gives us a chance to win every night. We just have to find a way to add one more goal every night and that will get us some wins.
