The Kunlun Red Star are saddened to hear of the passing of Charles Wang. Our sincere sympathies go out to his family and to the New York Islanders organization.

We want to particularly recognize Charles’ contributions to the growth of ice hockey in China. With initiatives such as Project Hope, the future of young Chinese athletes is all that much brighter thanks to Charles’ vision and passion for his home country.
