Curt Fraser postgame interview over Avangard (Back to Back)

Reporter: What's your opinion about this game?

Curt Fraser: This game was much different. That is how I expect our team to play. It sure feels a whole lot better coming out with a win like that. But it was every man dug in tonight. I can count on every player was at the top of their game. Alex was excellent in goal again. That’s a very, very good hockey team down there. And it was something we wanted to measure our selves against. Fortunately tonight, we got a few bounces and guys worked great together.

Reporter: We are a totally different game from last game. What did you tell the boys before the game？

Curt Fraser: We just said to stick with the way they want to play. And we have to trust the way we are playing. Our systems are good if we use it. And we play a disciplined style hockey. And everybody plays well. We are gonna get some good results just like this. But tonight it was difficult right from…just report the game. Latta couldn’t play. He’s sick. So that ??? But I really believe that the group came together, they wanted to win this game bad. Believe the 3 games before, the first 2 games we played against Ufa, probably should have won those games. But you have to find a way to get a win. And tonight the guys wouldn’t take a no for an answer. Our penalty killing, our special teams were really good tonight. You know that first penalty  early in the game, they did a great job killing it, answering it back with a PPG. And the scoring was spread out. Like I said, with everybody’s hands in the game tonight. Everybody was involved and contributing. When we do that, this is the results we can get.
