On December 17 (Beijing Time), CWHL of 2017-2018 season regularly continued. Shenzhen Kunlun Red Star launched a challenge to Boston Blades again at home. In the game, Dirk Angelo scored twice, Anderson and Haeckel scored two goals in half a minute at the end of the game. Kunlun staged a big reversal after falling behind 0-2. The only two Chinese women team in the league, Kunlun Red Star and Vanke Rays played a Derby Game on the 8th day after the last one. Hu Baozhen came out on top, Anderson, Stark, and Duck Angelo made contributions one after another. Kunlun won Vanke again 4-2, killed the opponent home and away and had the last laugh in the two Derby Games.

Liu Zhixin scored the second ball of China. Stark scored twice. Haeckel, Wang Yuting and Anderson had made contributions. Finally, Kunlun beat Vanke 6-0, and won the Chinese derby.

In penalty shootout, Chu Li saved all four penalties, and Mosher scored a winning goal. Vanke beat Furies by penalty shootout 2-1, and won the a four-game winning streak at home.
