In the early morning of January 15th Beijing time, the regular season of 2017-2018 CWHL(Canadian Women Hockey League) started a game once again. Carpenter who new joined the team scoring a hat-trick, Stark scored two goals and Chinese beauty Wang Yuting was the icing on the cake. Kunlun Red Star 6-0 defeated Toronto Furies and Won 11 straight games. Kunlun Red Star accumulated 26 points with 13 wins and 4 losses with 17 games and was second in the league.

The game, Alexandra Carpenter(Bobby Carpenter’s daughter) scored her first goal. Lyons added another in the third quarter. Kunlun Red Star 2-0 defeated Toronto Furies and Won 10 straight games.

It’s the middle of the CWHL race on January 14, Beijing time. Shenzhen Vanke Rays team was a guest at the Thornhill Community Centre to fight with Markham Thunder. Vanke Rays was drawn by Markham Thunder and lost penalty kicks from their previous match. Facing longtime rival, Vanke Rays didn’t play well at the first section. Chinese team members Hou Yue, Webster and Woods all made a greater contribution, but Vanke Rays still lost the match by 3-6. Now Vanke Rays accumulated twenty one points with ten wins and four losses and was fourth in the league. No.5 Thunder got 19 points with this victory and followed closely by Vanke Rays.

In the match, Blake Luke seized the opportunity to score the first goal in the second quarter.In third quarter Gianni and Bonton scored two goals in a minute. Finally, Vanke beat Blades 3-0 back to back, gaining the 10th win of this season.

On December 19 (Beijing Time), CWHL of 2017-2018 season regularly continued. Shenzhen Vanke Rays launched a challenge to Boston Blades at home. In the match, Bonton and Fang Xin scored two goals respectively. Fang Xin also became the first Chinese native player to scored two goals in the league. Eventually Vanke beat Blades 5-1 to, winning the 9th win of the season.

On December 17 (Beijing Time), CWHL of 2017-2018 season regularly continued. Shenzhen Kunlun Red Star launched a challenge to Boston Blades again at home. In the game, Dirk Angelo scored twice, Anderson and Haeckel scored two goals in half a minute at the end of the game. Kunlun staged a big reversal after falling behind 0-2. Kunlun took nine straight, and temporarily ranked first in the standings.

The only two Chinese women team in the league, Kunlun Red Star and Vanke Rays played a Derby Game on the 8th day after the last one. Hu Baozhen came out on top, Anderson, Stark, and Duck Angelo made contributions one after another. Kunlun won Vanke again 4-2, killed the opponent home and away and had the last laugh in the two Derby Games.

Liu Zhixin scored the second ball of China. Stark scored twice. Haeckel, Wang Yuting and Anderson had made contributions. Finally, Kunlun beat Vanke 6-0, and won the Chinese derby.

At 19: 30,November 24 on Beijing Time,CWHL of 2017-2018 season regularly continued. Shenzhen Vanke Rays and Toronto Furies held on a 2-2 draw, and either scored a piont in extra time. In penalty shootout, Chu Li saved all four penalties, and Mosher scored a winning goal. Vanke beat Furies by penalty shootout 2-1, and won the a four-game winning streak at home. Counting the games away, Vanke has taken 7 consecutive victories, and the current record of Vanke is 8 wins and 1 loss.
